Fader Doesn't Turn On - Recent Macs and USB-C
If you try plugging a USB-C fader directly into a recent Mac USB-C port, your fader may not do anything (except look pretty). I'm still investigating why, but I suspect because recent Mac USB-C ports are really Thunderbolt 4, there is some kind of incompatibility.
Fortunately, it's an easy fix: use a powered hub.
With a powered hub you can use a USB-C to USB-C cable, or a USB-A to USB-C cable no problem.
